YOU WILL RECEIVE OUR RACE CAMP OVERVIEW BOOK, OUTLINING THE TRAINING SCHEDULE WHICH INCLUDES TEMPO, SPEED-BASED, AND LONG RUN WORKOUTS. THE PLAN WILL ALSO INCLUDE INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTION ON RECOVERY, STRETCHING, TYPES OF WORKOUTS, MOBILITY, AND HYDRATION. YOU WILL ALSO RECEIVE ACCESS TO THE PROGRAM-EXCLUSIVE RACE CAMP DISCORD GROUP WHICH WILL BE THE PRIMARY PLATFORM FOR COMMUNICATION BETWEEN RUNNERS AND COACHES.

FAQ’S

  • Yes, we encourage runners of all levels to apply.

  • This is Atlanta Run Club’s training experience for runners wanting to elevate their run performance.

  • You do not need to attend every in-person practice session. However, we are looking for people who will be able to prioritize and attend the Tempo Tuesday training sessions.

  • The Camp is designed to have runs in-person for you to learn from and grow stronger by being surrounded by a group of athletes committed to the process of training. We prefer all athletes to attend practices if their schedule permits. However, we understand that schedules, commitments, and holidays may interfere and some practices will need to be missed.

  • After the application window closes, emails will start to go out on a rolling basis to each person who has applied notifying them of their selection status.

NICOLE FELL IN LOVE WITH RUNNING 10 YEARS AGO AFTER HER SOCCER DAYS. ON A WHIM SHE SIGNED UP FOR THE DISNEY WORLD MARATHON AND GREW TO LOVE THE GRIND OF TRAINING AND COMPETING IN RACES. NICOLE IS A CERTIFIED RUN COACH BASED IN ATLANTA. SHE WAS A COACH FOR ARC'S RACE CAMP i AND IS SUPER JAZZED TO BE BACK FOR SEASON 04. HER ADVICE FOR YOU IS TO HAVE FUN, STAY CONSISTENT, AND ALWAYS KEEP YOUR EASY DAYS EASY.

TUNDE, MIDDLE

TUNDE IS A LEVEL 1 CERTIFIED ROAD RUNNERS CLUB OF AMERICA (ARCA) RUNNING COACH. HE HAS BEEN RUNNING AS AN ADULT SINCE 2015 AND HAS RACED IN DISTANCES FROM 5K TO THE MARATHON. HIS FAVORITE RACING DISTANCE IS THE HALF MARATHON. HE HOLDS CURRENT PBS OF 1:23:59 IN THE HALF MARATHON AND A 2:53:33 IN THE MARATHON.

CINI, RIGHT

CINI IS A CERTIFIED STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH WITH MULTI-SPORT EXPERIENCE INCLUDING FOOTBALL, BOXING AND DISTANCE RUNNING. HE HAS WORKED WITH ATHLETES ACROSS ALL LEVELS, FROM HOBBYISTS AND AMATEURS TO PROFESSIONALS. HIS DECISION TO COACH WAS DRIVEN BY A DESIRE TO HELP OTHERS BUILD THE CONFIDENCE NEEDED TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS AND EXPERIENCE MENTAL BREAKTHROUGHS. HIS COACHING PHILOSOPHY IS ROOTED IN THE BELIEF THAT PERMANENT GROWTH IS ESTABLISHED WHEN ONE EXTENDS THEMSELVES THROUGH PAIN FOR THE ATTAINMENT OF A WORTHWHILE GOAL.
